The total cost to the Goodman group of building an eight-storey office block at the Setanta Centre on Nassau Street is being billed at €150 million. The price tag for complying with discovery orders in a legal row with its tenant the Kilkenny shop arising from the proposed revamp could be as high as €8.3 million, the Commercial Court has heard.
And that figure only covers the cost of searching for documents required by Kilkenny before the trial begins. It does not include lawyers’ fees.
